I already knew some of the words in the deck (did an A1 course and some A2), but the majority of them i never saw/heard before (where i live there is no spanish at all in every day life). Usually about half of them are all new, the other half are note2 cards of cards of which I already learned card 1 of.

The 'written' cards are a nice touch, but too much of a hassle imo. And since there is no article on the front of the cards, you already practise those with the first notes too (and they are easy in spanish.). There is tss on each card already, so you already train your listening comprehension. I deleted all but those first two notes (would take too much data and time). There is spanish word (without article) - > picture + article, picture - > spanish, spoken word 1 - > picture + spanish, spoken word 2 - > picture + spanish, spanish word without article and you have to guess it, and notes where you have to write the spanish word on your keyboard. Per card you have 5-6 notes, so if you do all of them you would know each word very well. I think it covers most every day life words you need, and it also has a broad variety of different themes so you can talk a bit about/understand different topics. Most of the words in the deck are nouns, which I really like as those are most useful to me as a total beginner. I have those card marked with the intention of changing the picture, but actually having them marked already prompts me to get them right.Įach card has a picture, link to the dictionary, and tss like speech (handy, I use it to practice my prononciation). The deck is very well made, even a bit too much! The pictures are well chosen, i am more than halfway through the deck and only a handful of the pictures I find ambigious.
